Since its founding in 2002, the Mezclado Movement Group has appeared at Rumbo al Festival Nacional, Teatro de la Opera and IV Aniversario de la Casa del Caribe, Teatro Ateneo, Maracay Venezuela, Food for Thought at Danspace Project at St. Marks Church, E-moves at Aaron Davis Hall, RAW Material at The Evolving Arts Theater, Fieldday at WAX, What’s Moving Us? at Sal Anthony’s Movement Salon, Tbird Luv’s Tuesday Night Sessions at Velvet Lounge, The Times Travel Show, Djoniba Dance and Drum Centre, El Taller Latin American Workshop, Manhattanville College, and Dance Theater Workshop and Central Park Summerstage in collaboration with Gabri Christa. In addition to performances, Mezclado conducts residencies and workshops in NYC public schools through arts-in-education partner CREATE!.

Recent Events:

Oct. 15 & 22, 2006 : Mezclado Movement Group performed Las Sirenas at the Dumbo Dance Festival.
Sept. 15-17, 2006 : Alysia Ramos collaborates with Nathan Trice & Gabri Christa in Christa’s new duet Oblivion at the New York International Choreographers Festival in SI.
Cowboy boots met cowry shells when the Mezclado Movement Group joined the Cuban Cowboys to rock the Prospect Park Bandshell at Celebrate Brooklyn June 16, 2006 opening for Grammy-nominated Tiempo Libre , and Javier Garcia.
April 21, 23 & 29 2006 : Alysia Ramos Re E-merges in E-moves at Aaron Davis Hall presenting From Africa to Here and Back.
April 11, 2006 : Mezclado collaborates with Sing Sing Rhythms in the International Series at Aaron Davis Hall.
Jan. 27-29, 2006 : Mezclado premeires Tales from the Crossroads at the Cunningham Theater in a shared program with Biggs & Company's Awkward Sister.
Sept. 10, 2005 : Auditions @ The Field: New company members sought for 05-06 season.
Aug., 2005 : Research trip: Alysia travels to Dakar, Senegal to study Sabar dance.
Jun. 17, 2005 : Burnt Sugar at Central Park Summerstage: Alysia rejoins Gabri Christa, Nathan Trice and Burnt Sugar Arkestra for an improvisation experience in Central Park.
Jun.5, 2005 : Fieldwork: Sneak peak at Alysia’s new solo, Limbo.
Apr. 26, 2005 : Grant Awarded!: Mezclado awarded grant from the Fund for New Work at Aaron Davis Hall.
Apr. 19, 2005  : Scholarships Awarded!: Alysia awarded Diego Hidalgo Scholarship for the Arts and Thomas W. Smith Academic Fellowship.
Apr. 12, 2005 : Space-Grant Awarded!: Mezclado awarded space grant from the Field.
Sept. 15-18, 2004 : Dance Theater Workshop: Alysia collaborates with Gabri Christa/Danzaisa, Nathan Trice, Niles Ford and Latasha Diggs in Dominata.
